Why a copywriter for the disability industry?
A lifetime of self-employment provided me with a strong sense of independence. It has always been a part of who I am.
When symptoms of my disability appeared, my independence was threatened.
Restoring independence became an immediate priority. It was important to me to remove the “dis” from disability.
So, adjustment training became my focus.
But not just any training. I wanted training from people living with the same disability.
Someone who had the same questions, concerns, fears, and desires I had.
It was a matter of trust.
Today, I want others to have trust in me, and I value it from them.
I decided to specialize writing online direct response copy for companies in the disability industry. Using my experiences living with a disability helps build customer’s trust in my clients products and services.
How it affects your customer
Reaching your customers in their language isn’t something I need to dredge up or work on. It’s part of who I am.
Regardless of the disability type, many of your customer’s goals and objectives are mine.
They’re keenly sensitive to recognizing a similar voice. And when copy is written effectively, they’re driven towards identifying with it.
And that’s where customer relationships and sales begin.
Business experience.
I’ve served years on a business enterprise advisory committee for the State of Wisconsin, helping to bring employment opportunities to people with a disability.
A lifetime of small business experiences helped make my committee participation an asset to the state.
Those experiences help shape what I bring to the table working with you on your projects.
Authenticity.
Part of what makes working with me so easy is my belief in authenticity.
We are all just people. We have a common objective. Being comfortable with each other and who we are in our relationship only helps us get to the end result easier, with better results.
Plus, it makes for a more enjoyable relationship.
Above all I’m a writer.
I can honestly say, no other business of mine has ever excited me like writing does.
I truly believe all my previous business experiences have groomed me for the career which holds my passion.
What that means for you.
You get someone who absolutely loves what he does every day.
My business expertise and personal experience with disabilities, adds value in helping you exceed your customer and sales revenue goals.
What’s next?
